Recently, I have been doing a lot of reviews on compact crossover SUVs due to the interest they have been receiving in our market. Size-wise, they fit into most spots around town, and because they are smaller than mid-size SUVs, they are usually more fuel-efficient.
A year ago, I reviewed the Porsche Cayenne, which was a monster on the road, as well as eye candy for commuters. In light of recent circumstances surrounding COVID-19, The Volkswagen Group of companies says it has extended the warranty period on Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche vehicles.
This extension has been applied worldwide and includes Jamaican customers with cars produced in Europe, Brazil, Mexico, and India. Customers are eligible for the extension once their current warranty has already expired or expired between March 1 and May 31, 2020.

At this year’s World Car of the Year Awards 2020 (WCOTY), the Taycan has seen the checkered flag first in two categories: winning as World Luxury Car and World Performance Car of the Year. It was cheers and applause for the 2020 Porsche 911 as it rolled off Knutsford Boulevard into the ATL Motorsports’s showroom for its launch on Wednesday.
“This is probably the most exciting car we’ve launched, and will launch anytime soon. It’s just amazing to have the most iconic sports car back in our showroom and we can’t wait to see it on Jamaican streets,” David Henriques, head of business at ATL Motorsports, told Jamaica Observer’s weekly Auto magazine.
