The Kia brand has been ranked number one in the industry by J.D. Power in the 2020 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS). For the 6th consecutive year, Kia is the number one mass-market automotive brand and is considered to be having “An exceptional run,” according to Dave Sargent, Vice President, Automotive Quality, J.D. Power.
Kia’s continued success in IQS this year was led by the brand having two models including the Forte (locally referred to as the Cerato) among the top 10 vehicles in the industry. (SEOUL) November 5, 2019 – Kia Motors has revealed its new Futuron Concept, an illuminating all-wheel drive SUV coupe which proposes new designs for future electric vehicles.
Kia has been steadily impressing me with how it packages their vehicles. Before now, there have been two standouts: the Sportage, which is an edgy and great-performing SUV; and the 2.2 litre diesel engine, which is one of the best-performing engines on our market and can be found in the Kia Carnival.
Now comes the Cerato, a compact car that Kia started to produce in 2003 to compete in the much smaller sedan market. I kept an open mind, knowing that all the craze these days is around SUVs and, sadly, sedans are left lacking.
AS automatic and constantly variable transmissions (CVTs) become the norm, there are some who still like the interactivity a manually geared vehicle offers. For those, the 2018 KIA Rio, with its six-speed manual transmission, is a great option.
