Uché McLean will take the helm from the first of September

Porsche Jamaica Welcomes New Head of Business

Kingston. Uché McLean, Senior Sales Manager within the ATL Automotive Group has been appointed the Head of Business of Porsche Jamaica effective September 1.

“We are extremely proud of Uché and immensely supportive of his move to our Motorsports division,” said Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of the ATL Automotive Group. “His dedication and genuine passion he has for the automotive industry for the past few years is evident in his work. With Uché seated as the driver, we’re excited to see Porsche Jamaica move to the next level.”

McLean joined the country’s leading automotive dealership in 2018 as a Sales Executive at Audi Kingston and quickly rose to becoming the Sales Manager of the brand’s Kingston location in 2020. Under his strong leadership skills, he helped the brand increase its sales and led Audi Jamaica to its highest sales figures in its history along with attaining the number two premium brand position in the local automotive industry.

“I am excited as Porsche has always been one of my favourite car brands. Having accomplished much at Audi, I’m onto my next step with Porsche and firmly believe the brand is on the right track for growth,” said McLean. “With a fantastic model line-up spanning SUVs to the iconic sports car the 911, there is the potential to get more people into the brand. We’re also excited for the electric era as we anticipate the Taycan, Porsche’s first electric sports car to arrive shortly to the island.”

Prior to joining the automotive industry, McLean spent a decade in the finance industry spanning service, sales, quality assurance and special projects with a heavy focus on customer service and heavy service training, McLean believes these skills will be crucial in developing Porsche even further.

As the Head of Business, McLean will oversee the Porsche’s business operations in Jamaica encompassing sales, the aftersales experience, and operations according to the international manufacturer’s guidelines and standards.
