With pulses already racing following news announcing that legendary automotive brand Porsche would be arriving this year, ATL Automotive has revealed that work is set to begin to create a stunning city centre showroom in the heart of the capital’s financial district.

Operating under a specially-created division, ATL Motorsports, Porsche Jamaica will open with a state-of-the-art city centre showroom on Knutsford Boulevard in New Kingston; the first of its kind in the Caribbean. Slated to open in February, the facility is set to become one of the brand’s flagship Caribbean dealerships and is now taking pre-orders on the first official Porsche units to arrive in Jamaica.

Adam Stewart Chief Executive Officer of ATL Automotive, parent company of ATL Motorsports commented, “This is an iconic brand and so we’ve cut no corners as we prepare to introduce Porsche to Jamaica. They say ‘The best things come to those who wait’ and it’s so appropriate for our Porsche customers who’ve waited to have the brand represented in Jamaica. We’ve worked hard to ensure we’re offering the kind of stunning experience Porsche customers deserve and expect. What’s more, we’ve also created an entirely new division, ATL Motorsports, that we believe perfectly reflects not just the sporty and dynamic character of Porsche but our own company too.”

“We’ll be boasting the whole range of models. People still associate Porsche with exclusive sports cars like the 911 or the Panamera but they’ve diversified brilliantly to boast a model lineup today that includes high performance SUVs such as the Cayenne and their lightest SUV ever, the Macan, to make driving a Porsche not just more within reach but practical for our market also.”

With the first units arriving next month, showcasing the luxury, performance, variety and versatility of arguably the industry’s most revered brand, clients have options from the sports sedan in the newly-launched Panamera, a compact crossover in the Macan, a midsize SUV in the Cayenne and sports car coupes in the legendary 911 and the Cayman, all designed to make the heart race.

Matt Cripps, Group General Manager commented, “Having recently attended the Panamera launch in Germany, it underlined again why Porsche will be a game changer to the automotive industry in Jamaica and offer an experience never seen here before. We’ve spent some time crossing T’s and dotting I’s and are now we’re ready to go. We’re taking orders now on the first ever units to arrive and our hugely experienced Master Technician is on the ground to complete the experience.”

In addition to the City Centre Showroom, a state-of-the-art sales and aftersales facility will be created in Montego Bay and is scheduled to open in Mid-2017. To schedule an appointment to preorder, clients can call 1-888-ATL-SERV.
