Audi Q7 Makes Bold Statement

WHEN it comes to seven-seat sport utility vehicles (SUV), the Audi Q7 is easily the best of the bunch. However, even though it has the ability to handle three rows of human cargo, that hasn’t stopped the brand from not resting on its laurels with the new 2020 model.

The exterior is drawn from the sportier Q8 for some fresh looks. Full LED headlights, tail lights and the new octagon-shaped single- frame grill blend well with the longer, stately body lines necessary for the Q7 to handle the third row of passengers.

Audi Jamaica has introduced its newest mild hybrid sport utility vehicle (SUV), the new 2020 Audi Q7.

This class-leading SUV combines progressive design with innovative technology to offer superb dynamics, premium comfort and superior spaciousness.

“The new design of the Audi Q7 is both striking and fiercely appealing. The exterior sports the Audi signature look while the interior is packed with innovative safety and technological features,” a company release quotes Audi Jamaica Sales Manager Uche McLean.

GIVEN the industry’s highly competitive nature, automakers are constantly tweaking existing models to give them that extra oomph . Audi’s flagship SUV, the Q7, and its executive sedan, the A4, recently went under the knife.

And, according to Audi, it’s more than just nips and tucks generally associated with facelifts.

So, to showcase the new and improved models, last week the German manufacturer invited six journalists from Latin America and the Caribbean to its revered Audi Forum in Inglostadt, Germany, to get an up-close and personal look. We were not disappointed.

“Luxury Car of the Year”: Audi A4 honoured by Cars.com

The experts at Cars.com, a leading digital automotive portal, selected the Audi A4 as the “Luxury Car of the Year” at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 10, 2018. They praised the midsize model’s versatility, driving dynamics and spacious interior as well as its superior workmanship and luxurious equipment. The A4 is the embodiment of speed and innovation starting as low as $6,925,000 with its world class infotainment systems and class-leading fuel efficiency. Since the debut of the new Audi A4 in 2016, when this compact luxury sedan won What Car? “World Car of the Year” award, the Audi A4 has won a multiplicity of awards.

New Audi Q7 is “2016 AUTO TEST WINNERS”

The Audi Q7 3.0 TDI quattro* has won the overall winner title for 2016 from the trade magazine “AUTO TEST”. Along with the sporty SUV, the Audi A6 Avant 2.0 TDI ultra* drove in a win in the upper midsize category as the best value for money.

In their commendation in Berlin, the expert jury panel especially praised the innovative technology of the Audi Q7 3.0 TDI quattro – above all when it came to the lightweight construction, drive system, chassis, operation and display concept of the premium SUV. The V6 engine impresses with its incredible delivery of power and efficiency, and the newly developed, adaptive suspension with its sportiness and comfort. In the interior, the Q7 offers numerous technical innovations, the jury said, highlighting in particular the Audi virtual cockpit that displays all important driver information at high resolution. Also on board are a variety of new-generation assistance systems that help bring drivers safely and efficiently to their destinations.

The Audi A6 Avant 2.0 TDI ultra topped the list of upper midsize cars in terms of value for money, according to the findings of the jury. The business station wagon scored points with its efficient drive system as well as its high reliability. At the same time the A6 2.0 TDI ultra beat competitors with its efficient fuel consumption.

The editors of AUTO TEST present awards for the reliability and quality of selected cars from all automotive classes and offer purchase recommendations from around 500 models.
