Honda Unveils New City
Kingston, March 15, 2021: Honda, the premium Japanese brand Jamaica knows and continues to love, will be debuting a refreshed model of their ever popular, sub-compact sedan, the Honda City in April. The City, which has been a local favourite ever since its introduction in 2009 is well-known for its sleek design, practical features and fuel efficiency backed by Honda’s brand reputation of reliability and dependability.

What To Expect
The refreshed model has some familiar features such as its 1.5 L VTEC engine with CVT Transmission but now comes packed with new useful features which drivers will find convenient such as Keyless Entry, Remote Engine Start to cool down your vehicle before you enter and Cruise Control for easy traveling along highways without having to worry about speeding.
Drivers will be able to journey in comfort with an interior designed for enjoyable driving. The City now features a new 8” touchscreen display with audio at your fingertips. The screen doubles as the car’s rear camera for easy viewing of what’s behind you while reversing. Passengers will also be able to relax and enjoy the journey in comfort with rear air conditioning vents and an accessory socket available in the rear seats.
As Safe As Ever
Peace of mind also ensues as safety features include Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), hill start assist and side curtain airbags. Plus, drivers can relax knowing they are protected by Honda’s ACE Body Structure. ACE stands for Advanced Compatibility Engineering and is a Honda-exclusive body design that uses a network of front frame structures to absorb and deflect the energy from a frontal collision. This helps reduce the force transferred to the cabin and more evenly disperse the forces transferred to other vehicles involved. That means it’s not just Honda City drivers that are safer in the event of a collision – it’s everybody.
The exterior of the new Honda City is accentuated by exterior mirrors and handles painted in the body colour, Halogen Head Lights with LED Daytime Driving Lights and sits comfortably on 16” alloy wheels. The City is available in a variety of colours including Taffeta White, Platinum White, Lunar Silver, Modern Steel, Crystal Black, Coffee Cherry Red and Brilliant Sporty Blue.
