Honda, through local dealer ATL Honda — a division of the ATL Automotive Group — will debut the Honda City in April. The 2021 City will be an updated version of the ever- popular sub-compact sedan, first introduced in 2009.
“We’re absolutely excited to have the new City added to our Honda line-up. We know customers will also love it because of its practicality, affordability and its excellent resale value when they’re ready to upgrade to their next Honda model,” Petrena Purser, general manager of Honda Jamaica, told the Jamaica Observer’s weekly Auto magazine.

The Comfortable Runabout Vehicle or Compact Recreational Vehicle (CR-V), depending on which country you are in, has been a hit since its inception in 1995, when Honda decided to introduce their first SUV to the market. It had only one trim level, with a high ground clearance, a roomy interior and a reliable 2-litre engine. In short order, the vehicle grew in popularity and now we are at the fifth generation.
I made no qualms about my dislike of the rear design of the fourth generation, as I felt like the design language for the front and back were different. So, naturally, I was pleasantly surprised by the design of the current model.

The Honda Accord, which started production in 1976, has steadily grown into the hearts of drivers over the years. In the late ‘90s, before the SUV craze, this was the vehicle for upper management, as it had the space and exuded class.
Currently, in its 10th generation, starting in 2017, the Accord is still fighting the good battle in the shrinking sedan market. This iteration is a bit broader and comes with a longer wheelbase than the previous one.

This because, in the past, it only had to do battle with class rivals from other brands, now the Accord must fend off competition not only from other mid-sized sedans, but the modern buyer’s cravings for sport utility vehicles even within its own camp.

It’s one of the common contentions, the battle between generations old and new. Often the warm glow of nostalgia outweighs the facts, one of which is that 90s performance cars were so much better than their modern peers. While there were many amazing Japanese sports cars, such as 1996 EK9 model Honda Civic Type R, the objective argument would make the fifth generation FK8 version the best ever.
