ATL Automotive for New Dawn

ATL Automotive Group has thrown its support behind the Kingston-based New Dawn Learning Centre for the dealer’s Adopt-A-School Programme.
This year-long initiative will see the early childhood institution enjoy major infrastructural improvements and beautification efforts.
“We’re so excited to launch this initiative and play a role in the communities in which we serve. This is the start of something big, a long-term programme that sees us use our resources, relationships with industry partners and friends in Corporate Jamaica to work together to do genuinely good things,” remarked Stephen Hector, deputy managing director, ATL Automotive Group.
Hector’s words were mirrored by Vincent Fyffe, co-founder and operator of New Dawn Learning Centre.
“In the 20 years that the New Dawn Learning Centre has been in existence this is the first time that the school and a corporate entity will form such a partnership, and I’m equal parts delighted and honoured that the ATL Automotive Group has chosen to partner with us,” shared Fyffe.
The programme kicked off on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, with members of the ATL Automotive marketing team visiting and touring the school to discuss its immediate needs and plans to address them.
According to Hector, the ATL Automotive Group has maintained a relationship in a less official capacity with New Dawn Learning Centre for some time now, and is looking forward to working with them in this more formal manner through the Adopt-A-School Programme.
We have been inspired by the team at New Dawn and what they have achieved with such limited resources. With some additional support such as this, the future looks brilliant for both the school, its teachers, and pupils, now and tomorrow. They have a wonderful story to tell, and it is an honour and privilege to play a part in their growth,” Hector added.
The first period of compulsory engagement will be in November, designated as National Parent Month, where planned activities will centre around parent workshops and how parents can become more involved in their children’s education.
