Traveling from point A to point B became a lot easier with the invention of the modern motor car in 1886. Since then, technology has allowed us to build and design cars with almost any feature we desire. Cars now have a lot more surface area than they used to and as such require a lot more dedication and effort when it comes to cleaning. We may not realize it but we touch a lot of the surface space on and inside of our cars with every journey.

To start a car and drive for even a short distance, we touch door handles, steering wheels, hand brakes, centre consoles, seat belts, indicator and wiper switches and so much more. Depending on how our days progress, we might even touch window switches, mirrors and trunk handles.

ATL Automotive always provides quality vehicles because we value your safety but we also want to put your mind at ease when it comes to the cleanliness of the vehicles we share with you. That’s why we’ve implemented a 14-point ProClean system to improve how we sanitize our demonstration and rental units that are used on a daily basis.

We have also improved how we sanitize the vehicles you drop off to us for servicing. Your vehicle is thoroughly cleaned before being returned to you after your service appointment.

While the entire vehicle is always sanitized, special attention is placed on the following areas:

  1. Keys
  2. Exterior door handles
  3. Exterior trunk handle
  4. Interior door handles
  5. Interior trunk handle
  6. Steering wheel
  7. Dashboard
  8. Radio button
  9. Gear stick
  10. Handbrake lever
  11. Gas tank and trunk levers
  12. Centre armrest
  13. Indicator and windshield wiper levers
  14. Seat belts

For our demonstration vehicles, plastic seat and steering wheel covers are added to reduce skin to surface contact. We have also been operating according to the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health, with all employees wearing masks and any other required safety gear when interacting with customers and each other. When you come to drop off your car, your temperature is checked at our central security point before continuing to your appointment.

Continue to trust us. We’re in this together.
